I'm meaning my mom had a heart attack and died and my dad had a stroke and although he lived for five years, he was a vegetable basically. So to me, he died the day he had the stroke. With my mom, I had just left her. We hugged and I left. Couple of hours later she was dead. My dad was normal, ...

Oh yes that is true - sorry I misunderstood - but in an instant yes - I watched my grandmother die and that is how I thought of it too - in one instant she was looking me in the eyes - the next she was gone forever. - Sorry for your losses too
