I painted a wall mural of elephants behind my bed a long time ago and elephants used to be the only thing I collected. I'm kind of over that but there is for sure something special about them to me.

We were under the State of Emergency for a couple of days.....Not sure How High the water got in the river valley bottom as we didn't go anywhere's near it. Now we'll just have to wait and see what will be happening in Calgary and other areas. The Calgary Zoo said they'd be open in two weeks time for visitors. The Calgary Stampede grounds are still under water..... Everything is a real mess and lots of clean up and repairs will have to be done. I'm glad to be back here! It seems I have pissed people off lately on the other places I blog somewhat. Some people just can't handle the truth and I don't sugar coat things a lot! ...as I said...this is my oasis from those I can't stand to be around!!
Me too! Some have lost everything. It's going to take quite a while to clean things up! Premier Redford said that it could take up to ten years to get things back to what they were before all the flooding!!!
Ditto that! Except for the folks I have found here! This is my quiet oasis away from all the folks I really don't like to associate with!
