When I lived in Conroe, went to a large church there. The pastor had gone to Lake Wood for many year, was very involved, but this was the Lake Wood when Joel's dad was pastor. I had a pastor a long time ago say many times to read the God's word and see if what he (pastor) was saying was correct. Wasn't the best as far as sermons went, but was a tremendous biblical teacher. Learned a lot from him.
