How a person uses the internet or other lifestyle factors, may make your list of favorites different than mine but because I believe several members here at this other VERY USEFUL SITE ->TeamNetworks.net, share at least a few similar needs and habits online, I think these are worth the time to point out.
YouConvertIt allows you to convert files to familiar types including html which is helpful for pasting into online blogs and such that accept html code for creating what you see is what you get from a word document to html for example. Often common documents do not display properly otherwise without conversion for online publication from a simple copy paste because Microsoft documents use their own coding sources that are not compatible with html. NewsMap.jp is a continually updating news aggregate with customizable search options of topic, country or by word. I've found quite a few obscure but important stories using this site.
RadioReference.com provides users with public and official channels across the nation.
Jimmyrr.com provides another great link aggregation that is searchable and I've also found many unusual links and stories from this site which is useful for finding under-reported news.
HeavensAbove.com allows users to track satellites and constellations.
WooRank.com is a great free tool for website owners that shows what your website is missing, how to fix it and how to make Google recognize it better.
DropBox.com gives you free space to back up files online in a way that is either private or communicable to others you wish to have continual access to view, download or alter however you choose to use it.
UnlistMyInfo.com is a site that shows you which sites have published information about you and allows you to tell them to un-list you. It is VERY HANDY for getting a grip on unauthorized use of information that you don't want to be made accessible in such a public manner.
GasBuddy.com lets you find local gas prices quickly and easily.
WriteCheck.com allows visitors to correct grammar and check for plagiarism.
NoPhoneTrees.com offers a place to look up companies by name and find numbers to call that aren't automated customer service responders. Talk to a real person!
