Toward life's end it all begins to make sense. Your dad had the experience of a lifetime of trials and tribulations and he was able to put it into context. I know that he went from that bed into God's arms.

That hell is the most terrible place is true! I do believe though that if one were to ask for forgiveness and mean it and to ask that they be forgiven.... God would not leave them there to suffer.
