My grandparents came from Poland; my great-aunt survived the Titanic. She couldn't leave Ellis Island until my grandmother came and got her--it took two weeks! Nothing stopped them from making a better life for themselves.

This is the kind of immigration I am for! The real dreamers of a better life and making a better world. I'm sure a few bad apples snuck in but overall, we are a nation of immigrants and we just need to get our handling of it RIGHT. It is such a mess now!
