Aw it's a special person who never gets mad. My dad was in his eighties but Mayo came back with tests showing he likely had Lou Gehrig's disease right before he died. It must have been hard for such a young guy to go through. Although, I understand that it is known primarily as a young man's disease...

It is so tragic to loose a nice friend like this. It is obvious that he still lives in your heart and the hearts of his other friends and family. Thanks for sharing here so we can all appreciate him.

It's hard enough to lose a friend, but when it's because of a debilitating disease, it's twice as hard.

My grandson raced today (motocross) and someone in an older group died on the track. No one knew it until late in the day but it was sobering for everyone. Esp the younger groups.....

It is a very sad thing to lose a best friend. No one will ever replace them but hopefully other friends will come help you heal up the hole in your heart.
