Our friend took this picture of our house with his drone. The two dots to the left, in front of the house are my husb and the drone owner. Surprisingly, he has over $1k in this gadget. I'm being asked by people how they can get a photo of their places......all I can say is it looks like you could...

I'm thinking of proposing this to my grandson to make extra money. The investment isn't outlandish and it has many practical uses that I believe would have a following.

Rocky, I love that your house is surrounded without nosy neighbors. I have always lived in the city and wanted to move to the country. My husband has always lived in the country and wanted to live in the city. Guess who lost? Me!! ;(

I actually regret that I moved out here because I'm an hour away from my kids and grandkids and with gasoline being outrageous, I just can't drop everything and run to town. Also my husbands extensive collection of CRAP rules out moving.

Oh yeah. The only good thing about it is that when I need I something, I say "Do we have a xyz?" And he knows right where it is and I have it within 30 seconds. Otherwise, it's crap.

I have a friend like that! She has a pile of detritus on her kitchen table three feet high and two feet wide. Just enough room left on it for two dinner plates. I asked her if she had an emery board and she thrust her hand into the middle of the pile rattled around for a couple of seconds, and ca...

Yep, that's the truth. It's nice to live 5 minutes from Whole Foods and everything else. But gee, if only we had a few acres around us...that would be heaven for me!

Marge, with your neighbors, you may need more than just a few acres.

We're getting there...now we all call the cops every time they're loudly partying after 11:00 p.m. They've been a lot quieter! Sicced the councilman, community development, housing inspectors and child services on 'em, too.

Sounds like a good plan. Negative Actions without negative consequences are seen by the perpetrators as their rights or rewards. Instant Karma is always a swift teacher.

Wow! I wouldn't hesitate to hold people to respect my rights to peace and quiet. I always say that 'you' have a right to play your music as loud as you want UNTIL you infringe upon my 'right' to quiet. Then you have to back off.
