Why Obama won and what we need to do!
Many Americans who are concerned about liberty and the economy were surprised and discouraged by the reelection of Barak Obama and the Democrats regaining the Senate. I was concerned because I thought that this election was our last chance to slow the federal takeover of every aspect of our lives, starting with Obamacare, the Dodd-Frank act and the Food Safety Act. I was one of many who feared that once implemented, the majority of Americans would always vote free stuff over freedom. As this election clearly shows, the last chance to stop the takeover was in 2008. Although those who value freedom must continue to be engaged politically, no politician will restore the constitution as the law of the land.
First, what did NOT happen:
Mitt Romney did not lose because he was too conservative.
The election was not a mandate for Republicans to compromise with the Democrats. The Democrats won by demonizing Mitt Romney, a decent man, who ran on promoting his ability to “work across the Aisle”.
WHY LIBERTY LOST AND WHAT WILL WORK TO REGAIN OUR LIBERTIES:
Prepare the economic turmoil and save your assets
We must face the fact that the USA has reached the tipping point where a majority of the voters vote to loot from the minority who actually produce the wealth. The Obama reelection campaign has successfully demonized success and the entrepreneur. They won and now they will expect the American entrepreneur and hard working taxpayer to revise the economy as we always have. The business community will not save them again; Businesses are already closing and laying off workers . This may be the start of a kind of “Atlas Shrugged” strike. Without the producers, they are helpless, they cannot create success, and they can punish it with redistributive taxes.
Let us not be the instrument of our own destruction so Obama can repay his supporters. We must prepare for the inevitable economic collapse that Obama cannot prevent, even if he wanted to. Moreover, the movie “2016: Obama’s America” shows that he may even welcome our demise.
First, learn about what is coming. With Obama’s reelection, America is now destined to go headlong over the financial cliff. Continued reckless spending and money printing will eventually cause the U.S. to lose its ability to fund our debt. When that occurs, a sovereign debt crisis will ensue as the Dollar’s value collapses. Inflation will start to run rampant. The United State will not be able to afford the interest on its debt and will have to go into default. The Federal government will then “save” us by converting our currency into an international fiat currency. We will be helpless as all our paper assets are revalued at whatever rate the federal government wants. The large banks, including the Federal Reserve banks, which are currently acquiring mortgages from smaller banks and quietly buying up gold, will hold a majority of all the tangible assets. We the American people will be at the mercy of the big banks and the federal government. The very banks that are being kept solvent by the Fed devaluating our savings will become our masters.
How do we prepare:
I cannot offer Finiancial advice but I can recommend some basic thoughts taken from good sources. These sources include Zerohedge.com, FiniancialSense.com, and the Ludwig von Mises Institute, just to name a few. I will provide more links but they are easy to find.
Do not put any of your assets at risk unless you absolutely need to. The Obama administration will make starting or growing extremely difficult and costly. If you do succeed, your success will make you a public enemy, and your profits will be confiscated to repay Obama’s supporters.
Convert paper assets into tangible assets, and diversify into currency of countries that have a more sound economy that ours.
Get out of debt or get to a point that you can pay off your debt quickly. If a revaluation of our currency is forced upon us, debt and savings may be treated differently.
Have enough food, water, and fuel to be able to survive for several weeks. Have enough cash in case the ATMs are offline. Keep some precious metal coins or bullion in case the dollars become worthless. Have a weapon and plenty of ammunition in case there is a total meltdown of society.
We must remember the goal is to have all of us to become totally dependent on the Federal Government; the last stage may be violent. We, who value our liberties, must not be in the position to trade them for a slice of bread.
KEEP ACTIVE POLITICALLY
Make sure that any elected official, from school board member to senator know that we are watching them. If they vote against the constitution, than they will be removed from office.
We all need to make sure that any voter fraud is investigated and punished fully of the law. Call your State Attorney General and ask them not to drop voter Fraud investigations simply because it will not affect the results.
Make sure that any elected police or sheriff official signs the Oath Keeper pledge.
Call your Governor the ask them not to set up the Obama care health care exchange. If your Governor has already vowed not set up the exchange as in Texas, Florida, and South Carolina, call them and thank them.
EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN
Teach our children the difference between liberty and tyranny, teach them about the Declaration of independence the Constitution and how these Documents define the uniqueness of America. Since our Founders have been vilified to a point that most young Americans view them wrongly as racist slave-owners we should teach them about the value of liberty by using the European libertarians. Frederic Bastiat’s small book “the Law” is one of the best ways to make the case for a government based on natural rights. Quote other free market advocates such as Fredrik Hayek, Ludwig Von Mises, Leonard E. Read, and Milton Friedman and others.
We can only reclaim our liberties if the younger generation activity starts seeking the truth and starts demanding their own liberties. This will only happen if we deny the federal Government the ability to enslave them with our hard-earned tax dollars and stop the brainwashing being done by the educational system. Then and only then will they understand that the true role of government is to protect our natural rights and prevent injustice instead of a government that creates rights and dispenses its own justice. There is a difference and that message is already being accepted when presented by the Libertarian movement.
Parents are going into debt to send their children to college, only to have them come back as socialists without any marketable skills. We need to vet our children’s schools and professors. To do this we should locate, compile, or create a forum where parents can go for information on what our children are taught in school. Make it an area where parents or a student can voice concerns about a textbook, a program, a teacher, a school board member or any official. Do it is such a way as to prevent retaliation against the student.
CHANGE HOW WE GET INFORMATION
We need to stop doing business with those companies who have profited from the demise of our liberties. Defund the major news companies and their TV affiliates and Comcast who runs MSNBC. You do this by never watching them, never quoting them, and never ever go to their websites. Who cares what they say, they just want ratings, don't give it to them.
Support, websites, and media outlets that provide pro-liberty content. Subscribe to Glenn Becks “the Blaze”, Breitbart.com and others, which provide news and information that the mainstream will not touch.
Ignore the Media outlets like MSNBC. Do not even quote them to point out their idiocy. It just drives up their revenues.

Finally, seek out people, online or in person, with whom you can share ideas and information.
The progressives have learned how to use social media to organize their activists. We can use the same tools that they use much more effectively because we, who belive in liberty and free markets, have a clear advantage. Our advantage is that our way works, theirs has only led to misery.
