We are always hearing about how Social Security is going to run out of money.

How come we never hear about Welfare running out of money?

Because Social Security was sold and a retirement saving account, and as such, the money was allowed to be confiscated from every American, every payday. It was supposed to be kept out of the general funds account, which it was for a while, but the SS account was so full of IOUs I think the just me...
