Carbon dioxide emissions cause tropical rainforests to grow faster

I was very young when I learned that plants breathe in the C02 that we exhale and make oxygen which we in turn breathe in. What a beautiful cycle God made for us. I couldn't have been more than five or six years old when this basic truth was brought to my attention. Does it seem odd that discovering tropical rainforests grow faster due to carbon dioxide emission is considered to be exciting news? I shouldn't complain. In the midst of today's global warming aka climate change political agenda, I think it is likely needed to substantiate what should be the obvious because so may have been brainwashed into believing all manners of lies about the environment.
