THE FALL OF HOSTESS! Unions running businesses out of business!
This may be a rude awakening which may hindrance additional stress to our jobs worry and our economy!
Judge Robert Drain, in favor of a last effort with the bankruptcy case in a good faith attempt to save 18,000 jobs and a business which has been around for many years and very well known, scheduled a mediation between Hostess and the Union...the mediation failed with no agreement which Hostess is now expected to proceed with liquidations.
"This is a tragic outcome and our thoughts and prayers go out to all teamster Hostess members and all Hostess employees," Teamster General Secretary-Treasure Ken Hall said in a statement. The Teamsters Union represents Hostess drivers.
With the economy high costs of living, dealing with higher taxes, and now dealing with Obamacare, major businesses and day by day challenges still embarks hardships to this country and American families, Unions may just also be a part of the downfall of jobs so strongly needed making those unemployment lines even longer!
Analysts see that as a clear sign it is gearing up to bid on Hostess assets and private-equity firm, Sun Capital, is interested in making an offer for Hostess's entire business. One businesses downfall becomes another business bargaining chip!
As Hostess Unions Strike backfires resulting in many job loses, could this be a sign to come with other businesses having to deal with Unions in a slow and struggling economy?
