It is my turn to bring a subject to Sunday School Class tomorrow and I am bringing this story about a teacher who is teaching about religions. I wonder how people feel about this. Is it a good or bad idea?

It's a joke. Kids graduate from high school without knowing how to tell time time, how to give change, never learned cursive writing, know nothing about the history of the US and a dozen other things that we might expect them to know. So throwing religion into the mix only adds to the deficit.

Thank you for your opinion. There is a wicca group at my school and they are trying to get to do a ritual. It would probably be better to keep it out if fairness makes us have to learn about things we don't think is right.

It's a good idea, but I'd make sure all the same facets of each were discussed. Like, "Do they believe in the Bible?" "Do they honor the 10 Commandments?" "Are they tolerant of the beliefs of others?"-- etc.
