A hell of a furious storm moved through.



I believe there were likely tornados around. My entire back yard got flooded as did the road out front and my driveway until it started pouring into the garage. I had a river going by my office door!




I grabbed every towel in the house and tried to keep the water out of the rest of the downstairs.


Kahaluu Girl was out doing errands and reported at a local Walmart that the cart cages were thrown all around the parking lot and it looked like a bomb went off. That sounds like a tornado to me. Thank goodness she wasn't in that parking lot when it happened. (In my car too.)

I tried to take a few pics - might add some if I can get this *#(#*%&^ camera to download after SOMEONE didn't return my software to hook it to this computer. GRRRR


Man I am STRESSSED! What a MESS!

I didn't quite make it to all high and dry but it could have been worse. I'm really worried if we get a hurricane my whole downstairs could flood so easily even if otherwise it wasn't a bad ordeal.

I was able to get it under control and I do have a shop vac but it was coming in too fast to go grab it. lol It wasn't THAT bad but if it had rained that hard for another ten minutes I would still be cleaning up.
