I'm working away here looking for noise, any noise on the TV that isn't offensive, and I come across The Wall in progress on the Retro channel. GOOD ENOUGH!!! I just hope it doesn't distract me. Probably my favorite album of all time(I'm quite sure I've heard it start to finish over a thousand times in my life. I could kick my own ass for selling it, along with most of my other vinyl, a couple of years ago, in desperate times. I'm talking Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, & many others. it makes we ...

When i was younger this video cut obviously made me think of the Nazi concentration camp trains, now, I think of FEMA trains!
Aw I'm sorry that really sucks. I don't care what anyone says, vinyl sounded better than digital. There was a quality of depth to it that you just don't get anymore. .. Gosh I kind of know how you feel. I sold hundreds of vinyl albums about ten years ago and I had collected them for years. I lived near a music store that bought and sold vinyl and I had all kinds of stuff you would never find even back then much less anymore. One day I was listening to the TV music channel for alternative and I heard a bunch of my songs and I thought there is no way someone else could have all of those oddball, rare, unheard of songs and I really believe the guy who showed up to buy most of them that day had something to do with the line up on that channel. .... This was one of my favorite albums and bands of that time. Music today can't hold a candle to it.
I agree about today's music. Rock is nearly dead, as far as radio anyway. I do really like Volbeat, though. I loved G 'n R, back in the day, seen them 3 times. I hear some other good bands on a local college radio station, but, they usually don't say who it is. The guy who bought my vinyl told me i co...

The guy who bought my vinyl told me i could buy them back if i wanted, but I never seem to have enough money. The regular bills take priority.
I never had enough money to buy what I wanted--the only ones I bought and still have are all the original Beatles albums. Now when there's a couple of bucks to spare, I'll get the CD of a favorite group's best hits. At least that way I have the music I want. Understand "no dough" completely!
