I understand what he was saying and he later brought up the defense of freedom of speech. I don't blame Trump but I see how things he has said were careless and are easy fuel for the fire for those looking for excuses. I think they would have gone after him anyway.

They would have gone after him, I agree. The doubt I had about him being a secret weapon for Hillary is gone. The left wouldn't be going after him with a fervor if they didn't see him as a danger to her.

I absolutely disagree with blaming Trump. The organizations against him in Chicago would have been there one way or the other given the number of people he attracts.
