Most horrific!  Children starving, cannibalism on the rise, growth stunted because of inadequate diet, food used by government to control the people........  China does nothing to end this regime and the rest of the world is focused on oil!   We have our military tied up in the Middle East for a cause that not many of us understand and whose progress is measured only in negatives.  I'm beginning to have a new understanding of America's reason for its' chronic interfering.  It seems if WE don't do something.......NO ONE WILL!

I never took that threat seriously but of course, you can't totally rule it out.  What happened to the nuclear war threat?..........hmmm......I think that Kim Jong Un does not possess the ability to be embarrassed.  For all his rantings, he should be!   He wildly made threats and caught the attentio...

Rice is grown in wet lowlands and most of North Korea is mountainous.  While mountains can be terraced for planting it still needs water.  So terraced growing isn't necessarily successful.
What IS grown in North Korea doesn't belong to the people.  It's the property of the government and is triaged ...
