When I was a very young girl in the mid fifities, my father, an engineer, mathmatician and scientist, told me that cultivated marijuana and the hemp plant in general was historically one of the most valuable plants on earth for useful purposes and for medicine. That was before most people probably even heard of it at that time where I was from.
