Brave appears to be an off take from Mozilla. Here's what I found so far but nothing that allows me to know if they are left leaning, right leaning or neutral. I've always thought of Mozilla as neutral but - a couple of recent searches using Brave didn't display what I'd hoped to see on the front page of returns. So, I am still not sure if I will switch from duckduckgo primarily. Even though they've now set themselves as the guardians of truth in perspectives along the lines of other search engines, they still are no where near as biased as Google.
For now I would feel okay with using Brave if it returns better results than duckduckgo. I'm very concerned with honey trap applications these days.
