(? Not sure about that last part. Here's a thought on masks. When you can't see someone's lips on a video there could be plausible deniability to claim a segment was altered when it wasn't. Without someone doing a lengthy and possibly expensive forensic study of the audio, in some cases for undercover video work, this could really be problematic.
