MISSING EVIDENCE

R. A. Schultz

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to its own widely-disseminated propaganda, is “The premier law enforcement agency in the Free World.”  If this is true, we’re in deep trouble.

I have said many times that the FBI became politicized under Clinton, festered under Bush, and became politically weaponized under Obama.  Today, moles from that political weaponization remain in the agency as well as in other agencies, comprising an element of Obama’s Deep State.  The FBI is no longer a professional law enforcement agency.  It has become the Left’s political police, and thus presents a clear and present danger to the nation and to We the People.

A stunning example of the FBI’s loss of professionalism is its uncanny ability to “lose” evidence that might be embarrassing to its leaders.  The agency “lost” damnable evidence in the Oklahoma City bombing case that indicated Middle Eastern collusion with the ultimately-convicted Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.  FBI agents tampered with witnesses in the downing of TWA 800, subjecting them to repeated re-interviews until their accounts of events became diluted.  They also failed to interview many other eyewitnesses.  And now, they “failed to preserve” some five months of text messages between a pair of vehemently anti-Trump DOJ/FBI officials, who were involved in an extramarital affair, which missing messages likely would have considerable bearing on exposing an anti-Trump bias on the part of the Mueller “investigation” into alleged Trump – Russia collusion during and after the election campaign.

The extramarital anti-Trumpers, Lisa Page, a DOJ lawyer, and Peter Strzok, a senior FBI agent, texted each other on government cell phones repeatedly, and undoubtedly continued their text exchanges disparaging Trump during the period from December 14, 2016 through May 17, 2017, the period the FBI “failed to preserve” the text messages.  A lot happened during that period regarding the Trump – Russia collusion affair, as enumerated in Byron York’s article in the Washington Examiner, today, January 23, 2018:

  • Conversations between Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

  • The completion and publication of the intelligence community assessment of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

  • The briefing in which FBI director James Comey told President-elect Donald Trump about the Trump dossier.

  • The president's inauguration.

  • The nomination and confirmation of new Justice Department leadership.

  • Flynn's interview with the FBI (conducted by Strzok).

  • Comey's assurances to Trump that he, Trump, was not under investigation.

  • A variety of revelations, mostly in the Washington Post and New York Times, about various Trump figures under investigation.

  • Attorney General Jeff Sessions' recusal from the Russia probe.

  • The firing of top Obama Justice Department holdover Sally Yates.

  • Trump's tweet alleging he was wiretapped.

  • Trump's firing of Comey.

  • And, finally, on May 17, 2017 — the final day of the missing texts — the appointment of Trump-Russia special prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Regarding that final item, please recall Gibbs’ Rule #39, “There’s no such thing as a coincidence.”

York continues:

In the newly-released texts, Strzok and Page discussed Trump winning the Republican presidential nomination, which they said would create "pressure" on the FBI to quickly finish up the Hillary Clinton email investigation, known inside the bureau as the "midyear exam," or MYE.

"And holy sh!t Cruz just dropped out of the race," Page texted Strzok on May 4, 2016. "It's going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable."

"What?!?!??" responded Strzok.

"You heard it right my friend," said Page.

"I saw Trump won, figured it would be a bit," Strzok said. "Now the pressure really starts to finish MYE."

"It sure does," Page responded.

Earlier, in February 2016, Page texted Strzok that candidate Trump "simply can not be president."

Hello, Swamp-dwellers!  We the People demand to know just what the hell is going on here.

Once we’ve drained the DC Swamp, it looks like we’ll have to torch it!
