I think most of us are outraged to consider what this mayor has done. One of our members shared this "suggestion for activism." It sounds like a good idea to me so I'll help spread it. As it was proposed:


Houston mayor Annise Parker has ordered several pastors to submit their sermons to her office for review.

I suggest that on Sunday, October 19, pastors everywhere send a copy of their sermon notes, outlines, or transcripts to:

Mayor Annise D. Parker
City of Houston
P.O. Box 1562 Houston, TX 77251

I suggest you send this by post, not electronically, so they may not be disregarded with the press of a delete key.

If the Mayor of Houston wants to read sermons, then let her read as many sermons as possible.

It's disturbing that it's never enough. Not enough to be out of the closet. Not enough to be voted into a political position as a lesbian. Not enough to govern the area they are responsible for. Not enough to be able to be 'married'.

No....they have to work on forcing acceptance of their bedroom ...
