I guessed this maybe two minutes after we heard about it. That plane is too reliable to jump to the conclusion that it crashed and they would have known it crashed within hours if not minutes.

This is why I am not in the international traveling mode to anywhere near that area! A friend recently went to Thailand and I was worried about her the whole time.
