One of the reasons that I became interested in becoming an online presence for recording truth and exposing lies was due to what I discovered about the Obama campaign's ability to accept completely unknown sources of donations in 08. I was already well aware that he had a tremendous source of networking and internet savvy on his side when I saw his campaign post on Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace 100 to 1 times over the McCain campaign. I wrote the Republican Party and the McCain campaign several times to suggest the needed involvement with social networking and even volunteered my time. I never got a response from either.
With my background of web site ownership and dealing with money online it eventually occurred to me to look at the two campaign sites to see how they were accepting donations. The McCain site was straightforward; donors filled out the form with their personal information and submitted a credit card payment through the site's online banking system. The Obama campaign had the same option but also allowed payments through Pay Pal. And through Pay Pal one can send money anonymously by using false information attributed to a debt card. The instructions may still be on Pay Pal about how to do it but whether it is or not I've added a link that describes one method below. My alarms went off. There was absolutely nothing to stop anyone from anywhere from sending donations to the Obama campaign!
And guess what, this year the Obama campaign says it does NOT accept Pay Pal donations. But what about in 08? Now that we know the extent of general, campaign and election fraud this administration and the Democrats in general are capable of, I don't think it is unreasonable at all to still wonder about it. Has anyone ever investigated or accounted for the donations that surely poured in from Pay Pal whether legitimate or not? I also alerted the GOP about the potential of the Obama campaign using pay pal for donations in 08 and again I heard nothing back from anyone. If I had a team of reporters on board I would look into this myself. If you or anyone you know has the resources this could also be another big Obama fraudulent campaign donations story waiting to happen.
