Ingredients


 


 


1 Cup small Bow pasta


8 Cups Chicken Broth ( approx)


2 Cups small frozen Italian-style meatballs


1 clove garlic, minced


1/4 tsp. hot pepper flakes ( optional)


3 Cups shredded Swiss Chard, escarole or spinach


1/2 Cup finely grated Parmesan cheese


 


( can also add chopped carrots )


 


 


Method


Combine Broth, meatballs, garlic and hot pepper flakes in a large pot; set over high heat. Bring to a boil. Add small bows; simmer for 8 minutes. Stir in the swiss chard and parmesan cheese until greens are wilted. Adjust consistency with additional broth as needed.


 


Serves 6 / prep time: 20 minutes
