Exactly - it isn't like they didn't know this was coming. Heck, I knew a couple of weeks ago. My sister and I have been more than blessed - we didn't lose power.

I am so thankful you were spared. I have a relative who wasn't and it has been heart breaking to follow her story. Yet still even she is a lucky one because she prepared except for - they had a fireplace - and didn't stock up on wood!

Yeah, should have stocked up, but who knew it would be this bad? My niece and her hubby lost power and came over. They were out a little over 24 hours. We kept our power usage low, so maybe that helped, but think we were just blessed.
