owie! I've had way too many run ins with these things!

ps where I am now they aren't usually bright blue - so you can't see them as well. And sometimes boats run over them cutting off the tentacles and there is nothing to see anyway, just a floating mass of tentacles that ruins an otherwise beautiful day in the water.

One of these ruined my Bahamas vacation a few years ago. I got stung on my back and ended up in the emergency room. What an experience that was.
