My show this weekend is a fundraiser Adopt-a-Thon for a local pet shelter.  I had to reinvent some old cards since I have very little in the way of non-Christmas animal cards.  This one was pre-color printer--you know, where I would photocopy the line drawing and then hand-color each card.  Love new...

Almost the whole darn inventory is sitting in the basement right now.  There are so many jewelers at shows anymore, it's like bringing coals to Newcastle.   I do have a stash at an exclusive apparel shop downtown, and will place on consignment where I can make a profit (where they don't charge no 60...

Lois, that must have been a very special, wise owl for that scenario to occur. Surely it was meant to be! You don't hear of too many owl rescues!? Great story.

I had never seen an owl up close and personal. It was an experience. It was bigger than I expected. I was very proud of the grands for stopping because they had their infant son with them and they'd already been on the road for an hour. Proud of them!!!
