This is the "Wedding Cake" top of our Terminal Tower in downtown Cleveland.
Linda Mihalic
The building is called Terminal Tower, and it's on Public Square in the hard of the City.

It used to be the home of our Union Terminal Station--hundreds of trains per week passed through. When they redid it, they tore out most of the tracks and made the track area a parking lot. There was a waiting room with long wooden pew-like benches, a shoeshine stand, snack bars for waiting passen...

I've always loved this fountain. Remember how it stood empty and unused for decades? So wonderful to see it lighted again.

Roughly a dozen species of gulls are regular visitors to Lake Erie and the rivers that empty into the lake.
Safari Woman
I'm not a fan of gulls but I've learned to tolerate them lol - Where I live - the nearest beach has a large section of it reserved for gull breeding. We get lots of species - at least a dozen and they are all such loudmouths - agressive birds.

Here they come far inland, and since I live by the Zoo and its Waterfowl Lake, they are always pesky visitors. We grow 'em as big as cats, and it's isn't surprising to find them parading around mall parking lots. It's also not unusual to find a dead fish on the hood of my car occasionally, lol!
Safari Woman
All of my photos are now packed from me trying to save them during the hurricane or I would post you some pics I've made - big as a cat and then some. lol The ospreys are the ones that drop fish in my driveway sometimes around here.
Robert Kenard
Forgive me for skipping the seagull video. I spent too many hours yelling at them to enjoy their diversity.

I ordered the butterfly/hummingbird mix--am excited about native plants; they're hard to find and I've been including them in the yard when I can.
