No thanks for the invitations to use the big red equal sign on my network profile picture at Facebook and on other sites.

Why?

- 1- Ask why it is red and you will find which political agenda actually started this to come to use such a name as the group on Facebook calls itself, the Human Rights Committee. Yeah, nice choice of words, but look further behind it. (Hint the fact that it is a RED equal is relevant and the first part of the word Committee might be slightly descriptive)

-2 - To be equal is the same as and none of us are the same as each other as much as the folks behind the big red = want us to think we are. The Y in the ABCs says, YOU are UNIQUE of all God's creations and nothing can replace you. I'm sticking with that. To think this is representing equal rights when the parties and circumstances are not and can not be equal is, well, sort of absurd if you ask me.

-3- I'm all for gays getting married as long as one in the couple is a man and the other is a woman. Otherwise, think up a new name for it, give it the same insurance rights or what ever it is gays claim they want under the communist agenda to destroy families and call it a day. Call it GAYrriage, yeah, that's a good name for it. It is not EQUAL to marriage between a man and a woman because gays don't follow the natural law of God historically recorded throughout time which is for males and females to produce children from their union in perpetuation of the human race. The union is bonded with this legal and spiritually binding agreement called marriage in order to protect the sanctity of the family that results from their union.

That people can't seem to actually stick to the agreement anymore is a sign of moral decay and the messed up kids of all ages we have on earth due to the soaring divorce rates are evidence of why it is supposed to be a holy union and not one of those if I don't like it I'll trade it in sort of deals. But that doesn't change the meaning and intent of marriage.

And that is all I have to say about it. I'm entitled to my opinion. Does it mean I "hate gays?" Not at all. Just--- NO red equal for me.

I completely agree.  I was in favor of Civil Unions because I believe that a committed couple of any sexual combination should be granted certain rights but of course, they weren't happy with that.  It HAD to be marriage!  One of the earliest couples to take advantage of marriage has already been di...

Thanks Lois, As you know I've been doing taxes and once the moral obligation that is the only thing to have ever backed up any promise is stripped away, I can easily see people saying why get married except to save on taxes or for other benefits that have nothing to do with love and comittment to ea...

God created us equal in  the right to BREATHE and to BECOME -- after that, it's divine difference resulting from what we each CHOOSE to do.

Right! Now that I am onto the left's phoney equality ploy it is easy to recognize for what it is. The fb page says they are for equal rights for gays. They already have equal rights. What they want are special rights.

Bingo, and I'm tired of special interest groups trumping everyone else. God did not promise me fair, He promised me an adventure in consciousness.
