When my cable bill (Comcast) went over $200/mo (and continually rising) I decided that maybe I should look around for alternatives. I plan on going to Basic Digital Cable (Comcast) but in the meantime I've attached my Wii to the TV so that I can stream Netflix over the TV. ($7.95/mo) But Netlix has lost rights to stream 'Downton Abbey' and I still need to see the second season. In the future only Amazon will be able to show this program. So.......Hulu will be showing season 2 for a few more months and I thought that I would also join them for ($7.95/mo).
Then with Basic cable, Netflix and Hulu I think I'll have enough programming to waste my time on! I HAVE had experience with Netflix and all went well. But Hulu is new to me. If you've subscribed, what do you think about it? And if you can offer any alternatives to knocking out exorbitant cable costs, I would be grateful!
BTW, you can try HULU plus for a week, free.
Yes, I'm taking advantage ...
Comcast's internet is going to cost around $50+. Basic, you have to call in to find out how much that is. But I'll keep y'all posted.
