A story on the Blaze says "GOP nominee Ron DeSantis said ‘monkey this up’ and the left went berserk. You already know why."
NO! I do not know why. What does the words "monkey this up" have to do with race?
I think we need to get the hosts on CNN to tell us why whenever they hear the word "monkey" they instantly associate it as a racist word.
I am not a racist, I have never been a racist, I have never hung out with racists, and I never worked at CNN. Therefore, I never heard anyone use the word "monkey" to demean any ethnic group whatsoever.
I have heard people tell me not to "monkey around" with their stuff, mostly when they were afraid I would break something.
I know that "throwing a monkey wrench in the works" is how you break something.
There once a musical group called the Monkees, but they were all British. Is the media accusing DeSantis of thinking Floridians are going to start forming groups and singing silly songs?
It stands to reason, if someone instantly jumps to the conclusion that the word "monkey" is a associated with any race in some way, then that person is a little racist themselves.
Certainly, Ron DeSantis never associated the word "monkey" with any race, or he would not have used it. It says a lot about "fake News" CNN that they do.
