I sent the message below to Senator Rubio, who has been sending me weekly updates for years. I honestly want to know if his argument is valid. I have been unable to validate his argument, but he may have resources I do not. We need to have anyone in authority back up their feelings with facts when it comes to our right to defend ourselves and the safety of our children confined to gun free zones.

I want my children to be safe in their Florida school. You reportedly said you do not support letting teachers carry guns in schools because” The SWAT team doesn’t know who is who” so they may shoot the teacher, leading to an “additional tragedy that was unnecessary”.
Can you have someone cite all the examples where this has occurred?
Although I normally oppose denying someone their Constitutional right to protect themselves and others, I would certainly support your position, if this is a regular occurrence.
