Assuming our leaders would be mature enough to agree to avoid the fiscal cliff. Now, I suspect odds are better than 50-50 that we’ll be flying over it in January like Evel Knievel. The House is set to adjourn Friday for Christmas. Obama is still campaigning instead of showing leadership and meeting with Republicans to hammer out a deal. House Speaker John Boehner accused Obama of trying to “slow-walk” America to the edge of the cliff. Meanwhile, Boehner has his own problems, with Republicans who threaten to mutiny if he agrees to Obama’s tax hike on higher earners and those who say give it to him and hang the blame for the economic damage on the Democrats. Then there are the gremlins in both parties who want America to go over the fiscal cliff for their own partisan reasons. Too bad voters didn’t toss them all over the cliff when they had the chance.

That would have been a wise move to toss them all out - something the masses haven't figured out how to make in unison yet. What ever happens - the next four are going to be hell and the only thing that is a question to me is how hot will it be.
