I thought today was going to be about me and my close little family. I was happy to have it that way. 
After spending the day decorating the house for Christmas, I went in to find my birthday presents under the tree. lol After I opened them we had cake. (I blew out too many candles and I hope next year they will get the number candles so it doesnt' look so massive lol) Then Billy said I missed a little present at the back of the tree. I opened it and there was a card from my neigbor and good friend a few houses down the street that said come on down to get your final present.
I thought maybe it was going to be a bicycle that I've been admiring but nobody would tell me.
When we got there I walked in and didn't see a bike and my neighbor handed me another small gift bag that had home made cookies and my favorite candy in it. Don't get me wrong I was thankful to get the gift but I thought it seemed a little strange that I was invited over for it rather than that she had brought it to me.
After a few minutes she said, oh wait there is one more thing close your eyes to come see it. I was thinking BIKE for sure lol. I was led into the kitchen where when she said ok open your eyes there was about thirty of my friends and co-workers !!!!
I've never had a surprise party before and I was really so surprised! There was food and every one had chipped in to give me a piggy bank full of birthday money! And it is cute because it is a laundry room piggy bank for the money that you find in clothes.
I almost got enough to buy the bike too!

I had a great day and didn't mind getting a year older this time like I have the last few years.
Thank you to my beautiful family and friends! You really made my day special. I'll never forget it!
