I had to read both sides and have included links to two entirely different reports about this below. If what the mother says is true, then it makes me wonder what I would do if I had been in her shoes. It is a tough one to call. On the one hand there is life for the sake of life, and on the other was a suffering child unable to live off of life support. I can see both sides. I'm still pondering over it.

Having read both versions, I side with the mother. What is a quantity of life with worse than no quality? And the child was unable ever to live without life support. My God. Well, now the Father has her and she is safe and pain free.
