The month of September has not been a good one from the start. Bad news, unexpected visitors, important medical appointments postponed, a dryer malfunction, an a/c unit breakdown, and yesterday this: an oil reproduction of August Seigert's 'Dreaming on the Windowsill'  that dropped onto the kitchen tile floor from its wall hook. The picture frame  slid straight down against the wall. As luck would have it, the fall was buffered by shoes I keep against the baseboard under the picture. The oil reproduction and the frame glass was spared. The only damage sustained was the bottom of the picture frame. I'll get a new frame for the oil print. I just hope the month turns a corner for the better!

That is a lovely painting. I'm glad it was spared! Wowz, what is going on this month? A lot of people are going through things, very testy trials and such. I'm sorry that it hasn't been a good month for you. You are always in my prayers and I hope that the rest of the month will pan out to be better...

Last month was my bad month! It seems to come in spurts doesn't it? I hope things will improve for you soon.
