Finally! Americans acting like AMERICANS! Thank you to the truckers and vets who showed up to let the legislators in DC know how WE the people feel. Following are some of the best items found to date and this will be added to as items come out.

Quick note and opinion. The left is crying about Cruz, Lee and Palin showing up to support the veterans briefly and writing long articles about them hijacking the event and turning it into a TEA party photo op. In several articles they mentioned a notice on the FB page of this organized Vet event. I went through every post for days on their FB page to find the one they excerpted from. It was posted several days before the event. I don't believe the organized group who put this together has made a statement one way or the other about this since it happened and if they did I didn't see it on their page as was asserted in the left's reports. It appears to be the interpretations of the left that the comments made about the event being apolitical and the vets not appreciating certain groups taking it over for their own gains were made in reference to the events of the day, when the only thing I can spot that mentions anything like this goes back to days before the event itself.

SO - unless they took it down, it appears the left might just be envious that none of the Democrats who turned out for the Illegal alien march where many even got themselves arrested, and which was on an approved exclusion of opening the mall, showed up for this as well. They could have right? What was to stop them? I can't say what the intentions of Cruz, Lee and Palin were but they didn't hijack the event nor was there any misunderstanding about what this event was about other than from the usual idiotic lying scumbags of the leftist media like CNN who called the vets names related to TEA partiers.

Surely any American in their right mind (which would pretty much exclude most of the liberal left) knows that the Vets in the crowd today and around America supporting this event, are from every party and would feel the same just as they served the same regardless of who the president was or what party he was from. If some were upset that a few politicians showed up to support them because perhaps they aren't enamored with their politics, that is bound to happen no matter from which side something like that may have occurred. I don't believe this is or should be an issue. Don't lose focus. This is about respecting the vets and the families of the Americans who have served to keep this nation free and protesting them being locked out of their own cemeteries and memorials due to the picking and choosing of what would "hurt people the most." Don't let anyone politicize this past the truth of their goal which is not about party politics but about what is right and wrong in this nation.

Thank you. I was on the road all day yesterday until late in the evening and didn't know what happened until this morning. I'm glad it seems to have gone off well except for the riot police being called on 90 year old vets.

Kudos to the Vets and Truckers. The way I see it is if Ted hadn't shown up the left would have found a way to spin that too.

Seeing these photographs and videos is very inspiring. If the president was in the least bit moved he wouldn't have ordered the barricades back up.
