TSA Eliminates All Invasive, 'Gumby' X-Ray Machines

The 250 body scanners will be 'transferred' to military and law enforcement agencies. Regardless, it cost the overtaxed taxpayers a great deal of money!! It's about time somebody starts LISTENING to US. The kicker is, the company supplying these machines is unable to provide the agreed upon software updates. I stopped flying maybe five yrs ago as a form of protest. I refuse to be groped and treated like a common criminal. If I HAD to fly I would. But I have like a temper when it comes to authority figures and I possibly would end up in the gulag.

I've flown once since they started this nonsense. I used to take three or four trips a year. I'm glad they are getting rid of these death machines but getting groped is even worse.

We have probably passed each other in the air! My sister, daughter and myself took 3-4 trips a year. I've slept in airports around the world!! And once on a 23 hr flight I slept on...

I have not been groped for a couple of years now. The only time I was, was when I flew on a ticket using 2 airlines -- an automatic red flag. The machines they are now using are the old metal detectors.

When I traveled to Euro about three times a year, I was NEVER pulled out of line, NEVER searched.....just totally ignored. lol.....but my traveling companion, my sister was targeted EVERY time almost without exception. It was funny.
