This was one of my favorite recipes to make years ago. I had forgotten about it until I found it written down in my mother's things when I was going through them. I can't wait to try it again. I wonder if I will still like it!?

Ingredients:

1 16 OZ PKg Frozen Chopped Broccoli (I might substitute fresh when I make it again.)

1/2 C Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/2 C Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese

1 Egg Wire Beaten

1/2 C Mayonaise

Salt & Pepper to Taste

1/2 C of Either Cheese Flavored or Ritz Crackers (I have butter crackers I like now and will probably use those.)

Instructions:

Cook Broccoli 5 Minutes, drain and add to other ingredients except for the crackers.

Pour into greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle Top With Crackers

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

It has a really different flavor to it - I think it's the mayonnaise that makes it unusual. When I was a church going regular - we always took food on the Sabbath so visitors (in this tourist town) didn't have to buy lunch - and this was one of the things people requested I bring often. lol
