I actually find it rather amusing that, virtually overnight, Nancy Pelosi is no longer the “brilliant political strategist,” but rather the semi-senile dunderhead of reality! She swoops back in to the DC Swamp from the fetid cesspool that Coliformia has become to pump mayhem into a bi-partisan discussion that had almost reached a favorable conclusion, thus effectively delaying it. She holds We the People hostage while she makes demands having little or nothing to do with the major health crisis at hand.
Then, suddenly, she realizes that We the People are virtually prepared, with torches and pitchforks at the ready, to storm the gates, and hang her and her pinko cronies, at which point she relents, and the process resumes. In the meantime, people are getting sick, even dying, while she was demanding money for windmills, reduced aircraft (!) emissions, and a union power grab.
A shipmate friend remarked: "One can only imagine how bad the Democrats’ polling must have been to cause such a hasty retreat. The Democrats had no one behind them except their most extremist supporters, like the New York Times.”
