About six months ago, I had a pop-up notice on my computer stating that I was eligible for a free trial of Windows 10, soon to be available on my computer.

It took a while for me to ignore the fact that "soon" , Windows, or whoever it was that sent me the notice previously, may be notifying me again that Windows 10 was available.

Anyways, while going through my twitter feed yesterday, I kept running into tweets concerning how great Windows 10 is, so, I finally gave in to my curiosity and went to check it out. The following title, along with the link that follows, is the path I took to download Windows 10: ' How to get Windows 10 right now ' : http://mashable.com/2015/...

Eventually, if you want to get Windows 10, it's going to cost you over $100, I have read.

Oh, like the title reads, I didn't care for Windows 10, mainly because one of my most-important-to-me programs wouldn't work to my satisfaction. Besides that, Windows 7 works okay.

Here's a another article that some may find helpful if you try out Windows 10: ' Windows 10: The best tricks, tips, and tweaks ': http://www.pcworld.com/ar...

This is what concerns me too - my software that runs great on 7, would be more expensive to replace than upgrading to windows ten even if I have to pay. I have no idea yet if any of them are rated for 10. Thanks for the articles. This is on a lot of people's minds. I think if you basically compute w...

No, it wasn't hard to uninstall. In Windows 10, you will go into apps, recovery, click about three times, and you're done.

Leave approximately 1/2 hour to go from Windows 10 Windows 7, you won't be able to use your computer.

Since I built/loaded my own tower/system, I won't be upgrading anymore above Windows 7. Gates's "wet-dream" is the computer user to have a monitor, a keyboard, and a biometric-reader to log-in to their servers to access your stuff on their drives. Each successive "improvement" to Windows are effor...
