I have had four family members who have been to Germany abot30 to 40 years ago....they all said that going to the taverns to drink was very different than what we see here in North America. ...

Seems we've lost the war and it's ended up costing us the farm to find, prosecute and jail people. We could just let people do what they will do and leave the drug cartels and Government out of it. They will do what they want to anyway.

Decriminalizing won't make all that go away...and no...I don't want to see the affects of a swat raid! I've been through my own hell with the RCMP doing a drug bust, thanks to my first husband's stupidity!

This is the type of society we do live in. This goes on every day everywhere and it's futile and expensive to try to stop it. I don't agree with endangering people but know the law won't stop this. I wonder how Amsterdam handles this??

Amsterdam hasn't legalized every drug....Amsterdam legalized Marijuana and hash oil and only in one area of Amsterdam....a few years back they found they were having a big problem with criminals coming in because of that....causing more problems than it was worth.

This isn't exactly the type of society we live in now....there are repercussions for doing the scenarios I mentioned above.

The problem is the way the criminals are being handled. If you are the drug dealer...you can get a suspended sentence if you can give names of others! You are allowed to go free...

Get rid of the CIA! Change the laws of how the big time crooks get away but the small time hoods are the ones being incarcerated.

There should be no regulatory control over seed-bearing plants. Peer pressure should handle any issues of "refinement". Nobody wants to start a "drug" lab in my area.
