Thanks Dad for finally letting me be on Facebook!!!!

These are the rules that I have to follow. I am sharing them for other teens to see what they should do.

1. I have to have a private profile so that only my friends can see it.

2. My comments have to be set so that only my friends can see them.

3. I can't add anyone as a friend that I don't personally know.

4. I can't spend more than a total of one hour a day on Facebook.

5. I can't post anything on Facebook that won't please God.

6. If anyone posts things I shouldn't be seeing on Facebook then I have to remove them as a friend on there.

7. Until I am 18 I have to give my password to my parents.

8. If an adult that I don't know asks to be my friend I have to show it to my parents.

9. Only friends and friends of friends can send me a mail.

10. If I get in any trouble because of Facebook then I have to get off of it.

Your dad is a smart man, Lati--he understands the problems young people face on public media. And it looks like he and your mom raised a smart gal. Enjoy your privilege!

Excellent. These rules ought to apply to anyone new to social media, regardless of age.
