The past few weeks have been difficult ones for the United States and its allies, as they received some painful reminders that the war on terror is far from over.
In a dastardly attack on April 15, two bombs went off at the Boston Marathon, killing three people, wounding 264 others and leaving more than two dozen amputees. A week later, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced that they had arrested two people in a plot to attack a passenger train heading to Toronto from New York.
There were other incidents as well. On April 18, gunmen stormed a hotel in the Kenyan town of Garissa and sprayed bullets into the restaurant, killing 10.
And on April 28, two assassins opened fire on army intelligence officers in the town of Lamitan in the Philippines, killing two people.
What all these episodes have in common is one highly conspicuous fact: they were all carried out by Muslim terrorists bent on killing as many “infidels” as possible.

This is one of my pet peeves. The Qur'an is the DIRECT word of Allah given to Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. Muslims believe that it being directly from Allah it cannot be changed, deleted or ignored. They claim there are virtually NO errors in the Qur'an and that THIS is Islam. The radical Muslims and the Taliban are the only ones to practice Islam down to dotting the 'i' and crossing the 't'. Other Muslims do pretty much as Christians and take what they like from the (Qur'an) Bible and leave what they don't like. The difference between Christians and Muslims is that if we leave the faith our lives are not in danger and only in rare circumstances are we shunned by our friends and family. To borrow from the Bible,' it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a Muslim to leave Islam.' Therefore Muslims STICK TOGETHER because they MUST. I'm sure there are Muslims who would do non-Muslims no harm. But the bottom line is that they WILL stand behind their Muslim brothers! When their fellow Muslims place a bomb in a public place, the so called 'moderate' Muslims are standing there beside them!!

We have a couple of muslim groups here in Canada that have been talking out about the "Radical" muslims, the burkas and face veil... the Hijab... they also have been talking about assimilation into our society and culture ...and they are being sent death threats by other muslims! Being in Canada makes them fairly safe but still....they are under scrutiny from other muslims here who only want things their way.
Lots of folks do though....they just don't understand what Islam actually is all about....they would rather stick their heads in the sand than to research and find out what it's about.....they believe that Islam is the Religion of Peace.
