I would have to read competing theories to know if there is a reason not mentioned here that scientists are ignoring what seems like a plausible circumstance. I don't have time for that currently - but even if their education is lacking, that shouldn't change their observational powers!

The "scientists" are not asking the right questions. They were not educated, but brainwashed into believing the present "conventional wisdom." It's the same with abiotic oil. If the world understood that oil was self-renewing, those holding the present major "reserves" would see their cash cow shrin...

agree - and this perfectly shatters what I think every good scientist should possess as characteristics, curiosity and open mindedness. The "training" of scientists is almost like a built in extinction of true science!
