Hypothetical Question: If Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee for President, who will he choose as his running mate?

I just don't know, Lew. I would expect he would choose someone with qualities and experience he doesn't have, especially in politics. So, someone like Cruz or Palin might fit the bill--depends on where he wants to look for votes.

I think he might pick Ben or Ted. They both have in a manner of speaking been more on his team already than others. Ben is 2nd in popularity - that would be the smart move imho. Or who ever is in that position or close to it by the time it happens.
