I like the Cracker Barrel. Used to go to them while I lived in Florida. There's only one Cracker Barrel in Baton Rouge. Haven't been there in years. I like browsing the store. Rock candy and Stewart's root beer!

I've bought many a last minute gift for people from a cracker barrel lol.. I like their selection if only so much of it didn't come from China! I like buying the toys because who doesn't enjoy getting a toy from their childhood? lol

I eat at the one closest to me at least once a week. It is hard to beat for price and variety. I might like breakfast any time of the day and they offer it with a good menu.

Yep they have very good breakfasts. It is one of the few places that still sells regular sausage instead of the links.

As an aspiring gourmet cook, I've cooked enough to last twenty lifetimes and I'm over it. lol So for me, eating out and getting old fashioned home cooked food is as much of a treat as anything else.

When traveling is the main time I eat at one because for an exit stop it at least offers a variety of food including fresh veggies which is hard to find on the road.

We ate there while traveling to another state. It does beat fast food but OMG, comfort calories! ie: fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy! YUM YUM!
