I knew it...have many pics of it sticking out of the ground in the middle of nowhere but none of it at night. Eagles fly around it and nest on it. While I never climbed it, it sure was nice just a-sitting' and a-lookin'.

We went through there when I was a girl and I remember seeing Eagles flying around it too! It looked so grand. So, I guess you lived there?

I bet it is a great place to stay. I would enjoy sitting and looking at it too. We stopped somewhere to look and make pictures but my father was the kind who always wanted to get where he was going in a hurry. So, basically we didn't stop anywhere to explore until we reached our destination. I guess...

It always amazes me to see it sticking up out of a plain with nothing else like it around. That's why it's named Devil's Tower! I understand completely about the exploring! I'm an explorer, too!

My dad was the same on vacay! With my children now....my hubby and I stop along the way to take in the sights....we believe it helps in their learning and also...it gives the legs a stretch....burns off some pent up energy!!! LOL!
