There's not much that can be done. I was put on Reglan and Erthromicyn but the side effects made me sicker than I am. I tried domperidone which has few to no side effects and is touted to be one of the best medicines out there but it's not FDA approved. I used to order 1,000 tablet blister packs from New Zealand until the pill stopped working on me. The new experimental treatment is Botox injections. That's out of the question for me. Another option is a stomach stim implant but that can cause as much problem than the vagus nerve stim implant that I have to minimize my seizure condition. The stim surgery was botched and my vagus nerve was damaged. At this point all I can do is eat and drink certain foods when I can as often as I can until I find a knowledgeable gastroenterologist. The real stickler in my case is that my gastroparesis problem directly affects my seizure condition. Doctors that I've seen can't see the link and I get exasperated making the point. There's a long waiting list for any doctor available.
That sounds so uncomfortable. Western medicine rarely admitts the connectivity of issues throughout the body. I have probably suggested it before but all I can think of is if it happened to me I would go to an accupuncturist and a Chinese herbalist. You are in my prayers! Keep the faith!

Wish there was one in the area. For that matter, Baton Rouge doesn't have a Denny's or Shoney's. I know, I went off o...

My step niece may have this. I can't believe I happened to see the video on the features here while looking around. I'd never heard of it before and we just found out the Doctors are suspecting this is her problem and now I find a video about it accidentally. Thanks. I really had no idea what it doe...

I really had no idea what it does to those who suffer from it.
